Confessions of an 18-year-old: Forever 21

So my next obsession I will tell you about is my love for the lovely store Forever 21. I get so excited every time I go to that store. It is such a wonderful place. I definitely wish I didn't have to pay for college right now because I would go shopping there all the time if I could. :(
But now that we are talking about clothes and things...I definitely have an obsession. Clothes, shoes, purses, scarves, jewelry, hair accessories, and anything else you wear...I LOVE IT! I had the hardest time moving from Kansas to Utah and having to pack everything up to fit. Holy cow! Talk about a challenge. I went through my stuff over and over this summer just so I can fit everything in. So I'm crossing my fingers it all fits in my dorm room. Otherwise, I'm doomed. My roommate already told me she's not lending me any of her space in the closet. It's probably for the best.

Weekend Escapades

Pierre and Ashley with our fancy dinner
Pierre (cute face) and me eating dinner
So here is the promised update on the fun weekend I had. On Friday it was Pierre's birthday so we definitely celebrated that. Ashley made a fancy dinner for us three. Then we opened presents of course! After all that Jordan and Jessica (my brother and his wife) came over for cake and just hanging out. We ate this delicious cake from Kneaders called a Charlotte cake, I believe. Very delightful. It's kinda awesome having a French brother-in-law because you get introduced to different food that is soo good. Then all five of us played the Game of Life! Good times. Jordan and Jess have a version with gambling or the Spin to Win. Definitely gets your adrenaline going. :) On Saturday Jordan and Jessica came over for crepes and crescents for breakfast. Oh so delicious. Yet again...good advantages to having a foreign brother-in-law. Then in the late afternoon we all ventured to Pierre's sister's in-law's house. What a house. They live in Alpine and have a REAL nice house. Don't worry, I took pictures for you to see. :) We swam for a few hours and then we had a most delightful bbq. It was a blast too! French people are awesome. jk. but really.

The beautiful Charlotte cake from Kneaders
Now it is Sunday, obviously, and it has been wonderful so far. This afternoon we (Pierre, Ash, and I) are going to Jordan and Jessica's for a late lunch then we are all heading to my Grandma and Grandpa Lewis' for a fun little get together with snacks and socializing. What we do best! Well now that you are bored, enjoy some pictures from my weekend escapades!

The back of the nice house.

The sweet backyard
Poolside at the REAL nice house. Huge pool, slide, basketball hoop,
volleyball net...what more do I need?

Confessions of an 18-year-old: Justin Bieber

So I already confessed of my love for One Direction. Now I must tell you of my addiction to Justin Bieber. I have to admit...it's definitely not like the 1D obsession. I would definitely choose One Direction over Bieber...but I still enjoy him. :) Have you seen his new music video? Well here is your chance.  But now I have to get on with my day. I'm going to my brother-in-law's sister's in-law's house...did you catch that? We're gonna swim and have a bbq. Pretty excited! I will tell you about my fun weekend later.

Confessions of an 18-year-old: One Direction

There are a few things that I am currently obsessed with. So I will share these things with you...one day at a time of course. The first is One Direction. I don't know what it is...but I'm hooked. Their humor, good looks, fun songs.....did I mention attractiveness?? I can't get over it. Sometimes I find myself watching video after video..so what.. right? Is this a problem? I don't think so...  :)

New adventures

Recently I moved to Provo, UT! I am going to attend BYU (Brigham Young University). I am also going to be rooming with my best friend of all time, Allie Jensen. It should be fabulous. Currently I am living with my sister and her husband until I can actually move into my dorm. But now that I have all this time on my hands, I decided to bake something. My sister has an abundance of peaches for some odd reason so I decided to make peach cobbler. It was soo good! I have never made it before and it was a super easy recipe. So I thought I would share it with you guys so you can enjoy it as well. I have definitely eaten my fair share of it. :)
